NATO defence ministers decided today in Brussels to establish a training centre in Bydgoszcz, Poland, to provide basic and advanced training for Ukrainian servicemen. The centre will allow for the involvement of servicemen and women from Allied countries to share lessons learnt by Ukrainian defenders during the Russian war, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, as reported by Ukrinform.
"Today we have decided to establish a joint NATO-Ukraine centre for training and military education in Bydgoszcz, Poland, which will allow Ukraine to share lessons learned from the Russian war and create a structure for Ukrainian forces to train and exercise alongside NATO troops," he said.
He added that NATO will continue to "stand with Ukraine for Ukraine's security and for our security".
