The Russian army is using phosphorus shells against a coke plant in Avdiyivka. These shells set fuel oil tanks on fire, and the poisonous smoke spreads throughout the plant.

Russian army is using 60 aerial bombs and is attacking around the clock. In addition, they are shelling with artillery and multiple rocket launchers, the 3rd Assault Brigade, which was redeployed to the Avdiyivka sector, said.

"There are continuous assaults with armoured vehicles and enemy infantry attacks," the defenders said.

The brigade added that its units continue to resist Russians with dignity, conducting defence and inflicting record losses on the enemy.

Yesterday, the 3rd Assault Brigade confirmed that it had been urgently redeployed to reinforce the area around Avdiyivka. At the time of the brigade's deployment, they described the situation as "extremely critical".
