Ukraine has a critical need for artillery, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a briefing in Germany. He thanked Chancellor Olaf Scholz for announcing a new aid package, which includes 120,000 rounds of ammunition and two Skynex artillery systems.
The president noted the decrease in the volume of assistance to Ukraine. "Unfortunately, we have a significant decrease in supplies from our partners," he said.
Germany's support in this situation is vital, the president added. He noted that Russians have a critical advantage in artillery and other weapons.
As far as the security guarantee agreement is concerned, Zelenskyy said that Germany has reserved about €7 billion in aid. It also stipulates responsibility for every Russian war crime.
