Russian occupants shelled Zorya village in Donetsk Region with cluster munitions. One person was killed and two others were wounded.
Russians struck yesterday, on 15 February. According to preliminary data, the Russians used Uragan rocket launchers with cluster munitions to attack civilians, the Prosecutor General's Office said.
An 83-year-old woman was killed in her own yard. A 71-year-old man sustained an open fracture, a laceration of the leg and mine-blast injuries.
A 41-year-old man was also hospitalised with shrapnel wounds. He came under fire on the street near a shop.
The explosions damaged an apartment building, educational institutions, at least eight private households, a gas pipeline and a car.
"Under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the statement said.
