The Spanish Ministry of Defence has announced that it will soon hand over a batch of M-113 armoured tracked vehicles and other equipment to Ukraine, ArmyInform reports.
"The minister of defence has announced the fast shipment of a new batch of M-113 armoured tracked vehicles. Two of them have been converted into ambulances. They will be followed by several fire trucks, snow ploughs and vehicles for transporting personnel, as well as various materials, including two light boats, an electric generator and a water purification plant," the statement on the ministry's website reads.
In addition, several types of weapons for air defence, air-to-air and naval operations will be sent to Ukraine.
Spain also announced its participation in six coalitions of forces and capabilities, noting that this plays an important role in helping Ukrainian forces move towards full interoperability with allies and partners.
