On Friday, 16 February, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit Germany and France. This was stated by the Presidential Office.
It is noted that Zelenskyy will hold talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron.
In addition, on 17 February, the President of Ukraine will speak on the main stage of the Munich Security Conference and hold a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines.
In particular, talks are scheduled with US Vice President Kamala Harris, Czech President Petr Pavel, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and other leaders of states and large businesses.
The Munich Security Conference will take place from 16 to 18 February. Russian and Iranian officials have not been invited to attend. This event is an influential global gathering of leading politicians and analysts to discuss defence and security issues. Moscow and Tehran will be represented at the forum by non-governmental organisations, and opposition politicians will also attend from Russia. Last year, there were no Russian officials in Munich.
