During a missile attack on Ukraine, explosions were heard in Lviv, there were several hits. This was reported by Mayor Andriy Sadovyy.

"According to preliminary information, more than 10 missiles were fired at our Region. Air defence systems worked well on this attack, but we still have one hit to an infrastructure facility," he wrote on Telegram.

The blast wave smashed windows in residential buildings on Naukova Street, damaged parked cars, and hit a school. Emergency services are working at the site.

Sadovyy also said that there are changes in bus traffic, while the tram is running as usual.

Later it was reported that three people were injured in the morning attack on Lviv by Russians, according to the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyy.

"These are a man and a woman who live in houses on Naukova Street. They have cut wounds, they were provided with medical assistance on the spot," he wrote in Telegram.

Another victim is a resident of the house that was hit by the blast wave. The man has a haematoma and had to be hospitalised.

"During the morning attack, a missile also hit the ground, near residential buildings on Naukova Street. Windows in five- and nine-storey buildings where people live and windows in the employment centre were damaged," he added.
