At least 15,000 Russian troops are fighting against the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade in Avdiyivka. The Russians are suffering heavy losses, but the situation is extremely difficult.

The 3rd Assault Brigade inflicted critical damage on Russia's 74th and 114th separate motorised rifle brigades, virtually wiping them out.

"Tentatively, the actual number of losses is estimated at 4,200 dead and wounded," the military said.

Russia's 30th Separate Mechanised Brigade is also suffering significant losses. Fighting is ongoing against the 35th and 55th brigades of the 41st Army, and against the 21st and 15th brigades of the 2nd Army.

According to the 3rd Assault Brigade, the enemy forces in their area of the front include:

· 35th, 55th and 74th separate motorised rifle brigades of the 41st Combined Arms Army,

· the 15th, 21st and 30th separate motorised rifle brigades of the 2nd Combined Arms Army,

· the 114th Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade, which is the former 11th Separate Motorised Rifle Regiment from the occupied part of Donetsk Region,

· the GRU personnel conducting night assaults with night vision equipment, sabotage, and adjusting air and artillery strikes.

"Despite the fact that the occupiers are suffering disproportionate losses, the situation in Avdiyivka remains extremely difficult," the military stressed.
