In Sumy, a five-storey residential building was on fire as a result of a Russian attack. In total, the aftermath of the attack caused damage to three sites in different district of Sumy city.
Three apartments on the third floor of the five-storey building were on fire. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
"At another site, where residential buildings and cars sustained varying degrees of damage as a result of the impact, rescuers inspected the area and provided various assistance to citizens," the statement said.

Rescuers deployed two helping centres to provide necessary assistance to the people.
Later, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported that a ten-year-old child was among the injured residents of Sumy.
"Seven people were injured, including a 10-year-old boy," the statement said.
As a result of the attack, the occupiers damaged apartments in 11 apartment buildings and a preschool building. About 20 cars were also damaged.
