The Defence Forces also destroyed two enemy Murom-M systems.

In the area of their responsibility, the Tavriya Task Force units destroyed a command post of one of the Russian Armed Forces' motorised rifle brigades and two Murom-M surveillance systems, its commander, Gen Oleksandr Tarnavskyy, has said.

According to the commander, over the past day, Russia carried out 33 air strikes, one missile strike, 136 kamikaze drone strikes, 1,143 attacks and 67 assault actions.

"Our defenders are steadfastly holding the line, conducting active operations in the designated areas, consistently destroying the enemy," Tarnavskyy said.

The total Russian losses in manpower in the Tavriya sector over the last day amounted to 515 people (killed and wounded). Another four Russian servicemen surrendered.

Over the last day, the Defence Forces destroyed 10 tanks, 24 armoured combat vehicles, 10 artillery systems, 11 vehicles and 16 units of special equipment. They also neutralised 237 UAVs of various types.

"The Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed another important enemy object - the command post of one of the motorised infantry brigades of the Russian Armed Forces. The destroyed Russian equipment includes one Ironia multifunctional optoelectronic reconnaissance system, two Murom-M surveillance systems and five buggies," the commander added.

Within 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed another 1,250 Russian occupiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost about 420,270 people and 10,308 artillery systems.
