Russia struck at critical infrastructure facilities in Chernivtsi Region at aroun 5.30 a.m., the Prosecutor-General's Office has said.

Non-residential buildings were damaged by the falling debris.

Emergency services are working at the scene.

A criminal case was opened over violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Russia carried out a large-scale attack on Ukraine's fuel and energy sector. Air defences destroyed 84 out of 99 Russian missiles and drones. Energy facilities in six regions of Ukraine were damaged.
