Overnight, Ukraine's defenders shot down 84 Russian air targets. In total, Russia fired 99 missiles of various types and attack drones. The targets of the strike were facilities in Ukraine's fuel and energy sector. This was reported by Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk on Telegram.
Russia used:
- 60 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type (launch area of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk Region - Russia)
- three X-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles (from three MiG-31K fighters - Ryazan Region, Russia)
- two Iskander-M ballistic missiles (occupied Crimea)
- nine X-59 guided missiles (from nine Su-34 aircraft - Belgorod Region - Russia)
- four Iskander-K cruise missiles (Kursk Region - Russia)
- 21 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles (from eleven Tu-95MS strategic bombers - Engels - Russia).
"Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and the Ground Forces, mobile fire groups, and electronic warfare units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were engaged to repel the missile attack," Oleshchuk said.
As a result of air combat, 84 air targets were destroyed:
- 58 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type
- 17 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles
- five X-59 guided missiles
- four Iskander-K cruise missiles.
