In the afternoon, Russians attacked Odesa with guided missiles launched from the Black Sea. Both missiles were shot down by the defenders, Oleh Kiper, head of the regional military administration, said on Telegram.
Debris fell in some parts of Odesa. A child was wounded and had to be hospitalised.
"Be careful, if you find dangerous objects, do not try to move them on your own. Call the emergency services and they will help you. The consequences of the attack are being checked," he said.
He urged people to respond quickly to air raid warnings and take cover.
According to an update from the Air Force, Russia launched two Kh-59 missiles.
