The night of Saturday was literally an explosive night for the Kushchevsk military airfield, as well as for the Ilsk and Slavyansk refineries in Russia's Krasnodar Territory.

According to LB.ua's sources, the hit on these facilities was carried out by SBU drones.

The SBU, together with the Defence Forces, attacked a military airfield with drones. According to the sources, dozens of military aircraft, radar and electronic warfare equipment were deployed there.

In addition, the SBU drones hit the distillation and atmospheric columns of the Ilsk and Slavyansk refineries, which are key technological facilities of the plants.

Fires and evacuation of personnel started at the airfield and refinery after the hits.

"The SBU continues to work effectively on military and infrastructure facilities behind enemy lines, reducing Russia's potential for warfare. The terrorist country's cotton [euphemism for explosion] is burning and will continue to burn," the source said.

Update. The Russian Ministry of Defence noted that it had allegedly managed to repel a massive attack.

The Astra Telegram channel cited local residents and sources in the emergency services of Krasnodar Territory as saying that the attacks also caused fires at the Ilya oil refinery and at a military airfield, where aircraft were reportedly damaged.
