The Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with four Shaheds, an S-300 missile, and 5 drones of an unspecified type. The defence forces managed to "land" 4 Shahed-131/136 UAVs.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On the night of 28 April 2024, the enemy attacked with Shahed-131/136 UAVs from Cape Chauda - Crimea, an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile from the Belgorod Region of Russia, and 5 unidentified drones from the occupied Kherson Region," the Air Force said in a statement.
As a result of combat operations by anti-aircraft missile units and calculations of mobile fire groups of the Air Force, all four Shaheds were destroyed within Kyiv, Vinnytsya, Khmelnytskyy and Kirovohrad Regions.
One UAV of an unidentified type was destroyed by a Ukrainian Defence Forces mobile firing group in Mykolayiv Region.
