President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held Sumpreme C’n’C staff meeting to hear a report on the readiness of fortifications, the situation at the front and the schedule of weapons supplies from partners.
The Head of State announced this in a telegram.
‘I have heard an extensive report on the degree of readiness of the fortifications in the border regions and in the areas of active hostilities. It was presented by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and Head of the State Service of Special Transport Oleksandr Yakovets,’ Zelenskyy said.
In addition, Oleksandr Syrskyy reported on the current situation at the front and the organisation of the rotation of units for the restoration of the head of state. In addition, the pace and needs for manning new brigades were discussed with him.
‘There was a report by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov on the schedules of weapons delivery from partners within the framework of the announced aid packages. He instructed me to take all possible measures to reduce the timeframe. This is especially true for the supply of air defence systems to protect human lives and energy infrastructure,’ the President said.
He also heard a report from Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin on the current pace of production of drones and electronic warfare equipment and the supply of drones to the frontline, as well as electronic warfare equipment to cover important facilities.
