On Thursday, UK Foreign Secretary Lord David Cameron visited Ukraine and told reporters that the weapons donated by the British could be used to strike at Russian territory.

According to Reuters, the diplomat said that "Ukraine has that right. Just as Russia is striking inside Ukraine, you can quite understand why Ukraine feels the need to make sure it's defending itself."

Cameron also promised annual military funding for Ukraine in the amount of 3 billion pounds “as long as it is takes”. According to him, "in terms of providing weapons, we have just really emptied all we can in terms of giving equipment, and some of this equipment should arrive in Ukraine today, while I am here."

This is the former British Prime Minister's second visit to Kyiv as Foreign Secretary. In the capital, he met with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy
