On 2 May, Russian army attacked the town of Derhachi in Kharkiv Region with guided bombs.

This was reported by the head of the city's military administration, Vyacheslav Zadorenko.

"The occupiers struck twice with guided missiles in Derhachi. Information about the destruction and victims is being clarified," Zadorenko wrote on his telegram channel.

He later added that there is a threat of repeated strikes and that there are reports of wounded children.

"As a result of the strikes on civilian infrastructure and private houses, four children aged 8, 9, 14 and 16, as well as a man aged 76 were wounded. The information is preliminary. Additional circumstances are being clarified," Zadorenko said. 

Update. The head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Synyehubov, said that as of 16.38, the number of wounded had reached seven as a result of enemy shelling of Derhachi.

‘Six of them are children. Two of the children received light injuries to their limbs, four were moderately wounded. All the victims are hospitalised. A 75-year-old man was treated on the spot,’ added Synyehubov.
