On 2 May, Naftogaz Group CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov met in Istanbul with Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar.
According to Naftogaz's website, they discussed Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation in the energy sector.
According to Chernyshev, the Ukrainian side is interested in deepening bilateral cooperation, in particular with Turkish energy companies.
‘We are ready to offer our own underground storage facilities for storing Turkish gas reserves on really favourable and competitive terms,’ said the head of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
The parties also discussed cooperation in gas trading.
