Russian military attack Kharkiv: one casualty, 11 wounded reported

Russian forces have once more targeted Kharkiv, focusing on the city's private sector. The assault involved guided aerial bombs, resulting in one death and 11 injuries. 

The Kharkiv regional military administration and the mayor's office confirmed the attack. Initially, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported one injury and four deaths. However, Oleh Synyehubov, head of the regional military administration, later updated the toll to five casualties. The attack struck a private household, setting a garage and an outbuilding ablaze.

By 15:50, three more victims were reported in a different part of the city, where occupiers targeted a children's educational institution. At 16:25, Synyehubov reported that the air strike on civilian targets in the Shevchenkivskyy and Kholodnohirskyy districts had left 10 people injured and one dead. Among the injured were two teenagers, aged 15 and 16. Two victims are in serious condition, while one sustained moderate injuries.

At 17:07, the total number of injured rose to 11, aged between 15 and 63. A 73-year-old man was confirmed dead, and one person remains in serious condition.

The air strikes also caused significant power outages, leaving half of Kharkiv's consumers without electricity and suspending the city's subway system. Power has since been restored.
