Two more countries have joined the Global Peace Summit communiqué. These are Barbados and the Marshall Islands.
This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on X.
"I am grateful to Barbados and the Republic of the Marshall Islands for joining the final communiqué of the first Peace Summit," Zelenskyy wrote.
These are the fifth and sixth new signatures to the communiqué since the inaugural Peace Summit.
According to the Head of State, Ukraine continues to work to increase the number of signatures.
"We see the growth of global support for the Peace Formula, that is, support for the UN Charter, which we want to return to full force. On this path, every voice is equally important and significant," the President noted.
He added that our country values its partners from the island states and calls on everyone to join in developing a vision of a just peace for Ukraine and all nations of the world.
"I look forward to working with the island nations on issues that are very important to all of us, such as environmental and food security," Zelenskyy added.
