On the night of 22 June, Russia launched another missile attack on Ukraine's critical infrastructure. There were reports of hits to power facilities in the west and south of Ukraine. People were injured.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

"The facilities of the transmission system operator in the southern and western regions were attacked. Unfortunately, two power engineers were injured at one of the facilities as a result of the shelling. They were taken to hospital. Some equipment was damaged," the statement said.

The shelling also disconnected an overhead power line in the eastern region, which led to a decrease in the load at the generating facility. The consequences are being clarified.

The shelling is being eliminated.

On the night of 22 June, four TU-95MS aircraft took off from the Olenya airbase in Russia. The country was also attacked by Shahed drones and tactical aircraft.
