Naftogaz Group will help restore the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, whose buildings were damaged as a result of Russian attack last night.
This was announced by Oleksiy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz.
He noted that another Russian crime this time was aimed at students - future specialists in the oil and gas industry.
"I discussed the assistance to the university with the head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Svitlana Onyshchuk and the rector of the university Igor Chudyk. We will not stand aside and will finance the restoration of the educational institution after experts fully assess the extent of the damage. Our young people are our future, and we will do everything possible to restore the damaged buildings and the educational process at the university as soon as possible," said Chernyshov.
According to preliminary data, the shelling damaged 14 university buildings and smashed more than 800 windows.
