The frontline in Ukraine is now over 3,000 kilometres long, with intense fighting continuing for almost 970 kilometres.
This was reported to Interfax-Ukraine by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The length of the entire frontline is over 3,000 kilometres. The line of active hostilities is over 970 km," the statement said.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also noted that the Russians do not count their losses, and they lose approximately 900-1100 soldiers killed and wounded every day, of which 400-500 are killed.
