Today, on 19 July, in the morning, a 72-year-old woman died in her own home as a result of an enemy attack in Kherson region. Later, the body of another woman born in 1970 was found under the rubble.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin and the regional prosecutor's office.
‘In the morning, Russian troops opened fire on a residential building in Bilozerka. As a result, a 72-year-old local resident sustained fatal injuries in her own home,’ he wrote in a telegram.
The second victim was reported by the Kherson regional prosecutor's office. As of 10:30 a.m., two people were reported dead and 11 wounded.
Addendum. Later, Prokudin clarified that there were two dead and five injured.
A 43-year-old man was taken to hospital with explosive injuries, concussion, shrapnel wounds to the back of the head and thigh.
A 69-year-old healthcare worker was injured in her own apartment by a shock wave. She sustained contusion, concussion and blast injury. The victim received medical aid on the spot.
Local residents, aged 52 and 39, sustained contusions and blast injuries. They were also provided with the necessary assistance on the spot.
A paramedic who was helping the victims was also hit by a Russian drone. The 26-year-old woman was hospitalised with explosive injuries and concussion
