On the night of 28 July, the Ukrainian Defence Forces shot down seven Shaheds and a Russian X-59 guided missile.
This was announced by the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk.
It is known that on the night of 28 July, the enemy attacked the territory of Ukraine with an X-59 guided missile from the Black Sea and 8 Shahed strike UAVs from Cape Chauda (Crimea).
The forces and means of the mobile firing groups of the Defence Forces and electronic warfare units of the Air Force of Ukraine shot down an X-59 and seven Shahed-131/136 UAVs.
