Rescuers have called on residents of Pokrovsk district in Donetsk Region to evacuate, the State Emergency Service press service reports

The agency notes that Russia's non-stop attacks and round-the-clock shelling have turned the Pokrovsk district into an arena of fierce fighting. The explosions continue unabated, and Russians continue to destroy homes and take civilian lives. Those who remain live in constant fear, hiding from the danger that is growing every day.

Over the past day, rescuers evacuated 17 residents of the Hrodivka and the Novohrodivka communities, including 7 children and 3 people with reduced mobility, from the danger zone. They were taken to safer settlements in the region.

"It is not safe to stay in Pokrovsk district. Think about your loved ones and children. The only way to save lives is to evacuate. Do not delay, you need to act now," the SES urges.

According to the Deep State project, Russia has recently made advances near Zhelanne, New York, in Zalizne and Pivdenne.

According to the Ukrainian president, the capture of Pokrovsk became Russia's main goal after the plan to capture Kharkiv failed.
