On Wednesday morning, air defence was activated in Kyiv Region due to Russian drones. The Kyiv Regional Military Administration posted a message on Telegram at around 7am.
The RMA urged people not to take photos or videos of the Air Defence operation and to stay in shelters until the fire was dismissed. Details of the attack are still unknown.
"Movement of enemy UAVs spotted! Air Defence Forces are operating in the region," the statement said.
The air alert in the region began at 1:08 am and as of 7:52 am it continues. According to the Air Force, Russia has been attacking Ukraine with drones since 11pm. The Russians have launched drones in several groups, which have been directed against different regions of Ukraine.
