In Donetsk Region, Russian troops did not enter the city of Toretsk, and attacked the city and the community 14 times, but all of these attacks were repelled.
The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, said this during a live telethon.
According to the head of the military administration, the Russians failed to enter Toretsk. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian occupiers have attempted to storm the city, as well as the villages of New York and Pivnichne, 14 times. The defence forces repelled the Russian attacks.
About 3,000 civilians remain in the city and are in no hurry to evacuate.
"White Angels police units are leaving every day, risking their own lives to help our people," Filashkin added.
Currently, about 50,000 people, including 4,000 children, remain in the frontline settlements.
