Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin announced on his Telegram page that Ukroboronprom was included in the list of the world's top 50 defence companies.
The rating is compiled by the Defense News agency. Last year, the Ukrainian company was ranked 65th, but made a leap of 16 positions and is now ranked 49th.
In terms of growth, Ukroboronprom is generally in the top 100: in 2023, its revenue grew by 72% to $2.2 billion.
Minister Kamyshin predicts that after the war, the defence industry will become one of the main export destinations for the Ukrainian economy. "Ukraine will be the arsenal of the free world," he said.
