Due to Russian shelling near Kherson, a large-scale fire broke out on Saturday, 10 August. According to the MVA, the areas where the fire is raging may not yet be mined.
This was reported by Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson CMA.
"As a result of another enemy shelling, a fire broke out outside Kherson. According to experts, it is burning over a large area, so it is impossible to extinguish the fire quickly. The situation is complicated by the high probability that the areas where the fire is raging may not yet be mined," said the head of the CMA.
Residents of Kherson and the surrounding areas are asked not to stay in the open.
"Rescuers and employees of our utility companies are doing everything possible to quickly eliminate the consequences of another terrorist act of the Russian army against the civilian population," added Mrochko.
Six people were injured in Kherson Region over the last day. Russia hit infrastructure facilities.
