Russia has lost another helicopter: a Ka-52 Alligator has been shot down.

Russian media outlets report that Russia lost a Ka-52 while repelling an attack by the Ukrainian army in the Kursk Region.

According to the reports, the crew was killed. It is also reported that the Alligator was hit by a man-portable air defence system.

The Ka-52 Alligator is a Russian reconnaissance and attack helicopter. It can engage armoured and unarmoured vehicles, manpower and air targets. It is a more advanced version of the Ka-50 Black Shark helicopter.

A few days ago, SBU special forces shot down a Russian helicopter using an FPV drone over the Kursk Region, a unique special operation in the history of warfare.
