Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss energy and comprehensive winterisation.
According to the Head of State, everyone involved in this area reported: Naftogaz, Ukrenergo, the Ministries of Energy, Internal Affairs, Community and Territorial Development, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and regional military administrations.
‘All levels of energy infrastructure protection: engineering, electronic warfare and air defence. Our aviation will take an active part. We also decided to strengthen air defence in the border and frontline regions. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has presented a plan of measures to respond to shelling and promptly repair the damage,’ Zelenskyy said.
He added that work is also underway to create a dispersed network of cogeneration units.
