Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Crimean Platform, which is taking place in Latvia, has brought together more than 70 participating delegations.

He said this in his evening video address on 24 October.

‘Today, our Crimean Platform and its parliamentary dimension are working. I am grateful to Ruslan Stefanchuk and everyone involved for organising the work. There are more than 70 participating delegations. This is a good, broad representation. This year, the platform is working in Latvia. Today I addressed the summit participants and called on them to support the Victory Plan,’ Zelenskyy said.

He added that ‘the points of the Plan were discussed in depth and in detail.’

The Crimean Platform's parliamentary summit also worked on the points of the peace formula.

‘In particular, the paragraph on territorial integrity and implementation of the UN Charter. Today, on the United Nations Day, it is important that the world does not forget about the goals and principles of the UN Charter and the purpose of the creation of this organisation. Even though some of its functionaries prefer the temptations in Kazan to the content of the UN Charter, our world is built in such a way that the rights of nations and international law have and will continue to matter. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine in this,’ the Ukrainian president added, reacting to the visit of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to the BRICS summit in Russia.
