Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets received lists of missing Ukrainian soldiers and letters from prisoners of war in Qatar.
He reported this on Telegram.
In Qatar, Lubinets met with Lolwa Rashid Al Khater, Minister for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"Thanks to the efforts of our main intermediary, I managed to get lists of missing servicemen through Qatar, as well as letters from Ukrainian prisoners of war to their families, and discussed the possibility of speeding up the process of exchanging prisoners of war," the ombudsman said.
According to him, they also managed to work out agreements on providing assistance to civilians in difficult life situations, including assistance in restoring personal documents.
"I thank the State of Qatar for its mediation efforts in resolving humanitarian issues," Lubinets said.
