Naftogaz Group, together with the Energy of Victory of Ukraine Charitable Foundation and the Dobrobat NGO, provided assistance to socially vulnerable categories of citizens to warm their homes in the autumn and winter.
This was reported by the press service of Naftogaz.
We are talking about the social programme Zigriy (Warm up), under which four thousand uninterruptible power supplies with a capacity of 600W were purchased for autonomous operation of domestic gas boilers. The equipment is intended to meet the needs of families of fallen soldiers, veterans, large families, internally displaced persons and pensioners.
"Many Ukrainians, especially socially vulnerable families, are at risk of being left without heating during possible power cuts in winter. We cannot allow this to happen. Therefore, Naftogaz Group initiated the Zigriy programme and purchased charging stations that will power gas boilers even in the absence of electricity. We have a difficult winter ahead of us, but together we will overcome all difficulties," said Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
The programme is being implemented in five Regions of Ukraine - Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi.
