On the night of 6 November, Russians launched 63 attack drones and two guided missiles at Ukrainian territory. Air defences shot down 38 drones.
According to the Air Force, Russians struck Odesa Region with two X-59 and X-31P guided missiles from the Black Sea. Shahed and unidentified drones were launched from the directions of Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel in Russia and from Chauda in Crimea.
As of 07.30 a.m., 38 Russian UAVs were confirmed to have been shot down in Odesa, Mykolayiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhya Regions.
20 Russian UAVs were locally lost in different Regions of Ukraine, and two more are still in Ukrainian airspace. Combat operations are ongoing.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
