US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has received the 277 electoral votes needed to win. Bloomberg, AP and CNN reported this.
He won the state of Wisconsin and will return to the White House four years after losing to Joe Biden.
CNN writes that with 99% of the votes in the state counted, Trump won 49.7%, while his main opponent Kamala Harris won 48.7%. Independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. is in third place with 0.5%.
Trump thus received 10 more electoral college votes, bringing his total to 277 out of the 270 required.
In addition to Wisconsin, Trump won other key states: Pennsylvania, Georgia and North Carolina.
His rival Kamala Harris received 224 votes.
