Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, at the Kyiv International Economic Forum, said that the Ukrainian government has an absolute understanding of how we will close the budget deficit in 2025.
"We have an absolute understanding of how we will close the budget deficit in 2025. We are continuing the programme with the IMF and the Ukraine Facility with the European Union. We will receive $50bn from the G7 and EU countries from the use of frozen Russian assets," Shmyhal said.
He assured that the country will have the funds to finance the army and all priority budget expenditures.
In October, Ukraine's state budget received $1.4bn in concessional external financing. The donors include the IMF and Canada.
