The Security Service of Ukraine and the Special Operation Forces drones hit the Aleksin Chemical Plant in the Tula Region of Russia. The plant is part of the Rostec corporation and produces ammunition, gunpowder and materials for the Russian military-industrial complex.

This was reported by the sources of LB.ua.

Earlier, Andriy Kovalenko, head of the National Defence and Security Council's Disinformation Counteraction Centre, reported the attack.

From 9:30 p.m., air alerts were announced in various regions of the Russian Federation due to drone flights, and at 3 a.m., residents of Tula began writing about an attack on a chemical weapons factory, explosions and fire trucks heading to the site of the fire.

"The SBU is conducting a comprehensive operation against the facilities on the territory of Russia that are involved in the war in Ukraine. Targeting weapons depots, military airfields and enterprises that are part of the Russian military-industrial complex reduces Russia's ability to terrorise our country," an SBU source said.

Update. According to sources, the Aleksin chemical plant is exploding and smoking. The staff has been evacuated. According to SBU sources, at least 13 drones flew over the chemical plant at night. Due to the release of acids, the key target, the gunpowder production shop, is now smoking orange.

At 13:10, an additional explosion was recorded at the facility hit by the SBU and the SSO drones, as chemicals caught fire as a result of the previous hits. Sources also confirm that the Aleksin CHPP was hit. A 110kV power line was damaged.
