On the night of 9 November, the Russian military attacked Ukraine with 51 Shahed strike UAVs and unidentified drones. Most of the drones were focussed on Odesa.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The epicentre of the attack is Odesa Region! The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defence Forces of Ukraine," the statement said.

As of 8:00 a.m., 32 Russian UAVs were confirmed to have been shot down in Odesa, Mykolayiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsya, Cherkasy and Ternopil Regions.
