On the night of 9 November, the Russian army massively shelled Odesa Region. The strikes killed one person and injured 13 others.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"The second day of the massive attack in Odesa Region: rescuers and volunteers have been eliminating the consequences of the shelling all night," the statement said.
Residential buildings were damaged, dozens of cars burned down and a fire broke out in a warehouse. Pyrotechnics inspected the area for explosives.
Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, also adds that a large-scale fire broke out in Avangard on the territory of one of the residential complexes due to the drone's crash: about 15 cars caught fire and residential buildings were damaged. Five people were injured, including one child.
In Odesa, windows in three residential high-rise buildings were smashed. A private house was destroyed as a result of a Russian attack, followed by a fire. An entire family was injured: the father and 16-year-old son are in hospital in moderate condition, and the mother, unfortunately, died.
