On 28 February, Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived at the White House to meet with Donald Trump.
Before that, the Ukrainian president met with US senators.
According to Senator Amy Klobuchar, it was a ‘really good bipartisan meeting’.
‘We stand with Ukraine,’ Klobuchar said.

Zelenskyy said
on social media platform X that they had talked about ‘the continuation of military assistance to our country and relevant legislative initiatives, a meeting with President Trump, efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace, our vision of ending the war and the importance of reliable security guarantees were the main topics of our talks.’
