The head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that Russia is incapable of launching 450–500 drones on a daily basis, although it can do so on occasion.
He made this comment to journalists, according to Suspilne.
“They can actually launch up to 500 drones in a single salvo,” said Budanov.
Budanov also described Russian attempts to develop their own naval drones as unsuccessful.
“The last time they tried, in early June, to use their experimental models, they did not show any results. They detonated before even reaching our territorial waters. According to our information, they were heading for the city of Yuzhne and were looking for their targets there,” Budanov said.
- According to Defence Minister Rustem Umerov, Ukrainian manufacturers have reached a capacity that enables them to produce more than 4 million drones per year.
