After hours of strikes by attack drones, Russians launched another attack on Kyiv on the night of 31 July — this time with cruise missiles. In the morning, Tkachenko reported 6 fatalities, including 4 in the Svyatoshynskyy district and 2 in the Solomyanskyy district. Among the dead was a six-year-old boy. As of the morning, there are 52 injured, with nearly 30 hospitalised. Nine of the injured are children. Among the wounded are also three police officers.

This information was reported by Kyiv City State Administration head Tymur Tkachenko, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

In the morning, Tkachenko reported that Russia once again directly targeted a 9-story residential building in the Svyatoshynskyy district. The Shevchenkivskyy, Solomyanskyy, and Holosiyivskyy districts were also affected.

According to monitoring channels, preliminary information indicates the use of 6-8 Iskander-K type strike weapons. A series of very loud explosions were heard across the capital. In total, the consequences of the Russian combined attack on Kyiv were recorded at more than 27 locations.

Head of Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko confirmed on Telegram that residential buildings in Shevchenkivskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts were hit.

Mayor Vitaly Klitschko added that medical teams were called to both districts. In Shevchenkivskyy district, windows in a children’s ward of a medical facility were blown out by the shockwave, but there were no casualties.
