American singer Jennifer Lopez was scheduled to perform in Moscow in August 2025 as part of her regional tour across CIS countries, which included Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Armenia. According to The Press United, the pop diva had agreed to the show in the Russian capital three months ago for a fee of at least $1 million, and the date had already been set.
However, Lopez’s team canceled the concert, citing reputational risks related to the war in Ukraine and the ongoing cultural boycott of Russia. Overall, the singer is not opposed to performing in Russia, but only “after the conflict in Ukraine is over.”
Negotiations were led by Yevgeniy Finkelshtein, head of the Russian concert agency PMI, who did not deny the report but declined to comment. Lopez last performed in Moscow in August 2019 as part of her “It’s My Party” tour.
