On the afternoon of 21 October, the Russian army launched a massive strike on Novhorod-Siverskyy in the Chernihiv Region. About two dozen Shaheds hit the city, according to the head of the district military administration, Oleksandr Seliverstov.
According to updated data, seven people were wounded. Four people were killed, said Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the regional military administration.
All of the victims were civilians, and there is extensive damage in the city. Among the wounded is a 10-year-old girl.
‘One of the wounded is in serious condition, the rest are in moderate condition,’ Chaus said.
- Russia also attacked the Chernihiv Region last night. Chernihiv and several districts, including Novhorod-Siverskyy, were left without power. Power restrictions remain in place.
