On the night of 17 April, the Defence Forces of Ukraine targeted sites in Russia and in the occupied territories. They struck command posts, ammunition depots and repair bases.
The General Staff reported on Facebook that a command and observation post near the village of Dovhe (temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Region) had been destroyed, as well as the Russian UAV command posts near the villages of Tyotkino (Kursk Region, Russia), Uspenivka and Zelene in Zaporizhzhya Region. They also struck a base for the repair and maintenance of weapons and military equipment in Klynkyne (Donetsk Region), a logistics hub in Mangush (also in Donetsk Region), and a boat storage facility in Chornomorsk (Crimea).
“Among other things, our troops struck enemy ammunition depots in the areas of the settlements of Skadovsk (temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Region), Panteleymonivka (temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk Region) and Dovzhansk (temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Region),” the statement said.
A depot of military vehicles and fuel near Sabakivka and Rovenky was also hit.
The General Staff also clarified the results of previous strikes:
- Destruction of a drone laboratory near Orlynske (Donetsk Region);
- Destruction of the Nebo-M radar station in the Belgorod Region;
- Destruction of the Podlot radar station in Novomaryevka.
