On 24 April 2026, a charity concert of Ukrainian sacred music, Let There Be Light, organised by the Songs for Ukraine initiative, will take place in London. The initiative announced this on its Facebook page.

The evening’s programme will feature works by prominent Ukrainian composers: Kyrylo Stetsenko, Dmytro Bortnyanskyy, and Viktoriya Polova. The organisers have also announced special guest performances, the details of which they promise to reveal at a later date.

The Songs for Ukraine initiative was founded in 2023 in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. It brings together singers from the Ukrainian community, many of whom were forced to leave their homes due to the war.

The organisers will allocate part of the funds raised during the concert to support charities assisting Ukraine.
