Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and announced news regarding PURL.
He wrote about it on Telegram.
"We spoke with Mark Rutte about protecting the skies, the PURL program, which enables us to receive missiles for Patriots, as well as the key security challenges that now exist for everyone in the world. It is important that we all coordinate and strengthen one another. Strengthening air defense is our key priority, and people’s lives must be protected. We are preparing news regarding PURL. Thank you to everyone who helps," the President noted.
- The PURL initiative is a joint US-NATO mechanism launched in 2025 to accelerate deliveries to Ukraine of US-made weapons and defence equipment.
